Winner of The Pooley Sword for Best Replica and a Commendation Certificate for Kit Built Aircraft at the 2012 Rally. Painted in the scheme of Maj. Gillier and the aircraft that was used for wartime air to air B/W recognition photos of the P-51D. In the 60s Endesleigh Castle the aircraft illustrator prepared a drawing of it with the green erroneously shown as bright red which has become folklore and was repeated on model kits of the time. |
